PC Hooft Group chooses Facultatieve Technologies 11-7-2011

PC Hooft Group and Facultatieve Technologies signed a contract in May, as PC Hooft chooses Facultatieve Technologies. Work will commence shortly to replace the existing cremation equipment at Zaanstad Crematorium in The Netherlands. PC Hooft Group has also selected Facultatieve Technologies for the new crematorium to be constructed on the Haarlemmermeer polder. PC Hooft Group currently operates five crematoria in the Netherlands (Amsterdam Westgaarde, Hoorn, Zaanstad, Purmerend and Alphen a/d Rijn) and a sixth (in Almere) together with Yarden.

Replacement of current unit
It was almost one year ago when initial discussions took place between PC Hooft Group and Facultatieve Technologies regarding the replacement of the cremation equipment at Zaanstad Crematorium and Funeral Centre to ensure that the crematorium would comply with current environmental legislation. After intensive dialogue on how to accommodate the requirements of PC Hooft Group, Facultatieve Technologies is proud to state that PC Hooft – which as yet does not use Facultatieve Technologies equipment – has now opted to work with Facultatieve Technologies.

The Zaanstad crematorium is to be fitted with an FTIII cremator and full abatement system, an insertion machine and ash processing equipment. This unit will be operational by 1 December 2011.

PC Hooft Group
PC Hooft Group – insurer and funeral company – originated from the PC Cooperative and offers its services throughout the Netherlands. In North Holland, South Holland and Flevoland, PC provides its services through its own funeral centres, crematoria and cemeteries.
