The new crematorium of Saint-Fargeau- Ponthierry was inaugurated on May, 16th 2008. This is a leading edge crematorium in terms of cremation technology, thanks to the FTIII oven and filtration system supplied by Facultatieve Technologies.
The FTIII is one of the latest generation of cremators and has an extra-wide combustion chamber to respond to the increasing demand to cremate larger and heavier coffins.

With more than 80 flue gas treatment plants installed to date by Facultatieve Technologies, impressive reductions in levels of pollutants are being achieved over the permitted emissions for unabated plant:


• Dust from 100 mg / m3n down to less than 10 mg / m3n
• Mercury from levels of 1-5 mg / m3n to less than 0,1 mg / m3n
• Dioxins from levels of 1 ng / m3n to less than 0,1 ng / m3n
Other pollutants HCl, SO2 are also abated as a result of the filtration system.

The installation proposed by Facultatieve Technologies for this crematorium includes a High Speed Cremulator and Ash Transfer Cabinet, fitted with a filter. These two items guarantee the safety of personnel at the time of processing the remains and transferring the ashes.
